Al Muzayen wins biggest final in Kuwait!

As Kuwait’s Abdullah Al Muzayen (ri) beats Egyptian Karim Abdel Gawad (le) in straight games (11-8, 12-10, 11-4) in the final of the Jena International in Kuwait City. It was Al Muzayen’s 11th PSA tournament victory and by far the biggest one according the prize money.

Malawi WSF Ambassador visit inspires squash addition to Olympic centre!

The WSF Ambassador Programme visit to Malawi has inspired a squash facility to be included in a new OlympAfrica Sports Centre in the capital Lilongwe.

The WSF Ambassador Programme to Malawi, led by Malaysia's record 6-time women's world champion Nicol David (le) and Egypt's 2-times world junior champion Mohamed El Shorbagy (ri), is a World Squash Federation initiative designed to highlight the appeal of squash in countries where the sport is in its infancy.

"It is a great honour for us to host your visit. There are many countries in Africa, but the fact that you have chosen to come to Malawi is very special to us", Hon. Enoch K Chakufwa Chihana (mid), the Minister of Youth Development & Sports said.

Corren claims 40th PSA Tour title!

Australia’s Mike Corren clocked up his 40th title on the PSA World Tour when he beat Englishman Lewis Walters in the final of the International Golden Open in Kalgoorlie, Australia.

Corren was leading 11-8, 11-2 when second seed Walters, who injured his ankle during the quarter-finals, decided he was unable to continue, handing Corren his 3rd Golden Open crown in the past 4 years.

The 38-years-old Corren is showing no signs of slowing down and said he had now set his sights on winning 50 PSA titles.
