At the El Gouna International Open, the last four matches of the 2nd round took place today. In the first match the 13th seed Australian Cameron Pilley (pic) came back from one game down to beat English No6 seed Peter Barker after 62 minutes (6-11, 11-4, 11-6, 11-2). Almost the same match characteristics was shown when 3rd seed Karim Darwish of Egypt beat Malaysian Azlan Iskandar 8-11, 11-8, 11-3, 11-1 (41m). French veteran Thierry Lincou was able to get control over his English opponent Chris Ryder, after taking the 1st game only in the tiebreak (12-10, 11-5, 11-3). With just 35 minutes of play, three times World Open Champion Amr Shabana (EGY) had the shortest visit on the glass court, when he beat Malaysian Ong Beng Hee 11-6, 11-6, 11-8.
