Qualifier Alison Waters won her fourth title of 2012 after defeating a number of seeded opponents in the WSA $35K International Des Pyramides Open in Paris, France.

As the Englishwoman slipped down the rankings caused by an injury last year, she is now on her way back. The former world No3 qualified for the main draw, and she defeated No8 seed Donna Urquhart, downed top seed Madeline Perry (IRE) and higher ranked Egyptian Omneya Abdel Kawy to meet Low Wee Wern of Malaysia in the final. After 70-minutes of play, Waters completed her 11-8, 12-14, 11-5, 11-8 win to gain her 8th WSA World Tour title.
