Englishman James Willstrop (pic ri) claimed his 2nd consecutive World Series title as he beat Egyptian Karim Darwish (pic le) 11-7, 10-12, 11-4, 11-2 in the final of the Kuwait Cup, his 5th World Series crown overall.

After last week’s Hong Kong victory Willstrop was able to win a World Series tournament back to back for the 1st time in his career. During the last 15 years, only Nick Matthew, Ramy Ashour and Amr Shabana have been able to win World Series titles back to back.
