Sarah Kippax’s (pic le) hopes of getting through to the women’s British Nationals semi-finals were dashed when the 4th seed crashed out to lower-ranked Dominique Lloyd-Walter (pic ri) . The No7 seed prevailed to win 14-12, 11-7, 11-7 in 40 minutes. Lloyd-Walter, a former world No18, is making a comeback after a six-month foot injury lay-off. The 28-year-old defeated Emma Beddoes in straight games (11-5, 11-7, 11-4). Semi-finals line-up: Jenny Duncalf v Dominique Lloyd-Walter; Madeline Perry (Ire) v Laura Massaro.
