Beddoes & Boswell win London Open crown!

Emma Beddoes (pic) outlasted compatriot Victoria Lust in the final of the Women’s London Open to keep the $10,000 WISPA title in English hands for the third year in a row, after Dominique Lyoyd-Walter won in 2008 and 2009. Beddoes, ranked 23 in the world, was too strong for her opponent, beating compatriot Victoris Lust 11-7, 12-10, 11-8 in 38 minutes to secure the 5th Tour title of her career. In the men’s final Australian Stewart Boswell marked up his 20th title on the PSA World Tour after winning the London Open. The 32-year-old former world No4 from Canberra, despatched England’s 2nd seed Jonathan Kemp, the defending champion, 11-3, 12-10, 11-5.
