World no.1 Nicol David, looking for her sixth successive title, eased in 29 minutes to an 11-4, 11-4, 11-8 win over French Camille Serme. Iskandar just needed 12 minutes more to overcome Pakistani Aamir Atlas Khan 11-7, 11-8, 11-2. Beside this qualifier Raneem El Weleily extended her giant-killing run with a 5-games win over England’s 8th seed Laura Massaro. 7th seed Tarek Momen fought back from two games down to beat Australian 3rd seed Stewart Boswell 7-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-3, 11-5.
