The Netherlands will host for the first time to the combined World Open for men and women. The 10-day championship will feature a total prize fund in excess of US$400.000, a record in squash. A full glass court will be erected on the podium of the famous theatre in Rotterdam, which has a seating capacity for 1.500 people. The early stages of the championship will be played at Victoria Squash. World Open tournament director Tommy Berden announced today with Dunlop a new partner. The No.1 brand worldwide in squash will team up as the ‘Official Racket Partner’ and ‘Official Ball & Equipment Supplier’ of the World Open Squash 2011.
