Hong Kong’s Annie Au and England’s Joel Hinds (pic) shared gold in the World University Squash Championships in Melbourne. Both overcame their opponents in straight games victories. Annie Au, who is ranked 16 in the world rankings, beats Emma Chorley (11-8, 11-5, 11-4), who is ranked 138 places below Au. Hinds ranked No.101 dominated Germany’s second seed Jens Schoor (11-6, 11-7, 11-2), who is ranked just 2 places below. “It was great – it’s my third time so it’s great to finally get that first place,” said the 23-year-old Hinds after his win.
