Colombia’s world No28 Miguel Angel Rodriguez (pic) scored his fourth PSA World Tour title in a row – and extended his unbeaten Tour run to 16 matches – when he beat Mexican Arturo Salazar in the final Ecuador Open in Quito. The 24-year-old Colombian edged ahead to take the first 12-10, before Salazar levelled the match by the same score in the 2nd. But Rodriguez was in no mood to give up his impressive Tour run – and battled to take the next two games to record his 10-12, 12-10, 11-5, 11-7 title-winning victory after 65 minutes. The win marks the Colombian’s 16th PSA Tour title.
