Madeline Perry (pic) moved through to the final of the Dutch Open with a four games win over Dutch Natalie Grinham. The Irish champion took the first with ease, but Grinham was able to level the score. The next two games proved to be close affairs. Perry, the world No.6 had the better end in both games over Grinham, the former world No.2 currently ranked 67 (11-9, 7-11, 12-10, 11-8). In the 2nd semi-final match Vanessa Atkinson kept Dutch home hopes alive, when she beat top seed Rachael Grinham with an impressive performance (11-9, 7-11, 12-10, 11-8). Tomorrow’s final will give Atkinson the chance of revenge against Perry, after losing to Perry in the Irish Open final just two months ago!
