English players kept home hopes alive at the London Open, while Emma Beddoes and Victoria Lust secured an all-English final. Both beat their opponents Nicolette Fernandes (11-5, 11-6, 11-4) and Laura Hill (11-6, 11-8, 11-8) in straight games. In the men’s there is England’s Jonathan Kemp, the world No.27, who will try to win his 3rd PSA title this year, while Australian contender Stewart Boswell (pic), the world No.19 goes for the 2nd one. In the semis Kemp ended Canadian Shahier Razik’s run after 47 minutes 11-2, 11-4, 11-4 and Boswell avoided an all-English final by beating Chris Ryder 11-3, 8-11, 11-3, 12-10.
