Frenchman Gaultier dashed Dutch home hopes (8-11, 5-11, 11-5, 11-2, 11-7) as he pulled back to level the match and had more left in the tank to take the 5th game against crowds favorite Laurens Jan Anjema (pic le).
Egyptian No2 seed Ramy Ashour also find his way back into the match after finding himself 0:2 down against Alister Walker from Botswana. After surviving tough the 4th game Ashour was back in control to take the 8-11, 3-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-3 victory in style.
