Greg Gaultier (FRA) beat [2] Ramy Ashour (EGY) 11-8, 11-1, 1-0 ret. in the quarter-finals of the World Open 2011, as Ashour had to pull out caused by a leg injury (photo: SquashSite) Last year’s World Open runner up James Willstrop (ENG) took out the 4-time World Champion Amr Shabana (EGY) 11-8, 11-2, 11-13, 11-1 and will meet now in the semis of the World Open in Rotterdam Greg Gaultier (pic le). The Frenchman took on World No2 Ramy Ashour (pic ri) to a fast and furious 1st game which Gaultier won 11-8. Afterwards Ashour had some problems with his leg, lost the 2nd easily 11:1 and conceded the match caused by the injury.
