The two Australians Lisa Camilleri and Mike Corren (pic) took their tour title No9 and No27, when they celebrate victories in Adelaide. The 27-year-old Camilleri overcoming New Zealander Kylie Lindsay in 5 games (11-2, 4-11, 11-6, 9-11, 14-12) and the 36-year-old Corren produced an upset over fellow Australian Matthew Karwalski, the top seed in 4 games (11-7, 11-8, 3-11, 11-6). With Corren’s 27 PSA Tour titles he is now one title ahead of compatriot David Palmer and Egypt’s Amr Shabana – both former world number ones and world champions. Corren, who won his first tournament in Hong Kong in 1996, knows that his titles cannot compete with those of players like Palmer and Shabana, but he is still proud of his achievements.
