Malaysian world no.1 Nicol David won (pic) her fourth successive Singapore Masters title in Singapore. Her English opponent Alison Waters gave her a very tough match in the final. David went onto the court with a 14-0 career head-to-head record over her third-seeded opponent. Waters had her chances and the first game was in many ways the decider – after 27 minutes David took the game 18-16. 9-9 in the second game, and 10-10 in the third, gave Waters plenty chances recording her first win against the Malaysian, but won 11-9 and 12-10 after 63 minutes.
