ROWE Motor Oil has confirmed its sponsorship of the British Grand Prix Squash Championship for the 2nd successive year. 2010, the Championship attracted a high quality field, from which Egypt’s then world No1 Ramy Ashour emerged as champion. The ROWE British Grand Prix – Manchester 2011 will take place at the National Squash Centre in Manchester from 19-25 September. “I was very pleased with the result of the first tournament. Especially the TV coverage in the far east countries was very impressive”, said Michael Zehe, CEO and founder of ROWE Motor Oil. This year’s event reinforces Manchester’s ambition to be recognised as one of the world’s leading squash destinations, alongside; New York, Mumbai, Cairo, Canberra, Hong Kong, Kuwait City, Doha, and Saudi Arabia.
