Four matches of round 2 of the Tournament of Champions which is held in New York’s Grand Central Station are played and the top-seed players more or less eased through. Only Egypt’s runner up of last Year Ramy Ashour droped the 1st game against Australian fellow Stewart Boswell, but took the victoty 8-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-8. Australian David Palmer and Englishman James Willstrop ended the runs of English qualifiers Tom Richards (12-10, 11-9, 11-8) and Spaniard Borja Golan (11-6, 11-4, 11-6). In the 4th match Egyptian 7th seed Mohamed El Shorbagy (pic) outs Canadian veteran Shahier Razik 11-9, 11-5, 11-6.
