El Hindi and Anjema to contest US Open final!

Egypt’s Wael El Hindi (pic) and Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema will contest the men’s final of the Metro Squash US Open after the 2nd and 3rd seed overcame their opponents in four-game semi-finals in Chicago. El Hindi faced Olli Tuominen from Finland in the first semi. The Finn dominated the first game, but El Hindi battled back to draw level before taking over control and won 4-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-6. Anjema, the world No13 took on Omar Mosaad, the No6 seed from Egypt. Left-hander Anjema built up a 2-0 lead before Mosaad fought back to reduce the deficit. Anjema regained his focus in the 4th and ultimately took the game to win the match 11-4, 11-9, 6-11, 11-6.
