Qualifier Tenille Swartz eased trough!

South African qualifier Tenille Swartz (pic) got a trouble-free passage through to the last four, while 14-year-old Egyptian Nour El Sherbini (WR 45) was forced to concede her quarter-final. In the semi-final Swartz (WR 71) will meet England’s Dominique Lloyd-Walter who is ranked 48 places above Swartz in the world ranking. Before it took Lloyd-Walter 50 minutes to get past Egyptan Kanzy Emad El-Defrawy. The second semi-final of the Des Pyramides Open in France will show top-seed Annie Au (HKG, WR 16) against 4th seed Emma Beddoes (ENG, WR 33). Beddoes claimed the place when she overcame Women’s World Junior Champion Amanda Sobhy (USA, WR 35) in four games and Annie Au destroyed German qualifier’s dreams by beating Sina Wall (WR 106) in straight games.
