The 1st semi-final of the ATCO World Series Finals showed business as usual. It was the 16th time in a row Nick Matthew (pic) beat his English rival James Willstrop. This time he did it in straight games 11-4, 11-6, 11-8. Even a 7-5 lead by Willstrop in the 3rd did not shock the World Open Champion. Matthew stayed cool, raised the pace and took the match.
